Inspired by Pulp fiction illustration, Laura Lakey's Cowgirl series is a fresh blend of "B-western" attitude with the classic pin-up poses of the 1940's and '50's. These works provide a nostalgic look back at a rip-roaring era and make a colorful and whimsical statement about America's on-going love affair with the old west.
